Wei Wei, the founder and CEO of Kangxu, is also the director of the 'Zhongguancun Huakang Gene Research Institute'. Huakang is a research institution registered with the approval of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs (Certificate No. 0030326). It can represent the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China to train and examine genetic counselors, precision medicine consultants, molecular testers, and other certificates. During training, it can form a network covering hospitals across the country, gaining access to many hospital laboratory resources.
Currently, Kangxu has more than 160 employees, about 70 full-time sales personnel, and several stable cooperative agents. With smooth sales channels, it has cooperated with over 2,000 doctors from more than 500 hospitals across the country, including Beijing Children's Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University, Peking Union Medical College Hospital, and Peking University Third Hospital. In August 2018, Kangxu, together with Renhe Capital, completed a new round of financing of tens of millions of yuan, marking a new stage of leapfrog development for the company.
