天宜上佳具备雄厚的研发实力，获得授权发明专利24项、实用新型专利100余项，在轨道交通制动闸片材料配方、技术工艺、生产装备等方面取得重大突破，成功实现国产替代，是中国标准动车组 “复兴号”的核心供应商。
