Sensata Technologies (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. was established in December 2004 with registered capital of USD 55 million. With rapid development over the past 15 years, Sensata Changzhou has grown into a comprehensive operation center, including a center of excellence for manufacturing, the Asia-Pacific R&D center, a testing and laboratory center, and a shared service center. The total number of employees exceeds 3,500, including more than 400 engineering professionals, supporting projects in the Asia-Pacific region and globally. The sensor engineering laboratory of the testing and laboratory center has passed CNAS1702 and GMGP10 certifications. Sensata Technologies (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise in Jiangsu Province and has passed ISO9001, ISO14001, and IATF16949 certifications in the automotive industry. Sensata Technologies (Baoying) Co., Ltd. was established in 1996, originally named Jiangsu Deyi Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd., and was the first manufacturing center established by Sensata in China. It was renamed Sensata Technologies (Baoying) Co., Ltd. in 2006. It currently has more than 1,200 employees and serves as the group's production base for thermal protectors in Asia. In recent years, Sensata Baoying has focused on lean production to improve productivity and quality performance, thus winning quality supplier awards from key customers for several consecutive years.
