Eisai China

In 1996, Eisai (China) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a wholly foreign-owned pharmaceutical enterprise invested by Eisai Co., Ltd., a world-renowned pharmaceutical group from Japan, settled in the park. The headquarters of Eisai was founded in 1941, with overseas companies distributed across Europe, America, and Asia, and has more than 10 innovative drugs, covering five major therapeutic areas including the central nervous system, digestive system, endocrine, orthopedics, and oncology.

As part of Eisai's global manufacturing system, Eisai Suzhou Factory is located in Suzhou Industrial Park, registered in March 1996, and successfully relocated from Baiyu Road to the new factory on Xingpu Road in 2018, covering an area of 130,000 square meters, with local production capabilities for solid dosage forms, injections, and other formulations. In the future, in addition to meeting the clinical medication needs of Chinese patients, the Suzhou factory will also provide high-quality products to other Asian countries and regions to meet patient needs. The Suzhou factory will continue to introduce anti-tumor drugs, develop new formulations, and innovate product processes, seeking sustained profitability.
