工业测量部门自1980年代中期开始涉足中国市场, 1998年，在中国首都北京成立了一家代表办事处，并先后于1999年和2005年在上海和重庆成立了办事处。如今，所有五大业务部门团队都已实现了本地化。

Company Profile
As an integrated optoelectronics group, Jenoptik operates in five divisions: Lasers & Material Processing, Optical Systems, Industrial Metrology, Traffic Solutions and Defense & Civil Systems. Jenoptik customers around the world primarily include companies in the semiconductor and semiconductor equipment industries, the automotive and automotive supplier industries, the medical technology, security and defense technology industries as well as the aviation industry.
The Industrial Metrology division has been represented in the Chinese market since the mid1980s. In 1998 a representative Office was opened in China’s capital Peking, followed by offices in Shanghai and Chongqing in 1999 and 2005. Teams from all the five divisions now have a local presence.

Today, Jenoptik(Shanghai)Precision Instrument and Equipment Co., Ltd. has employed a staff of more than 100 personnel in China, the majority of these at the Shanghai location in the Pudong Industrial Zone. At the headquarters in Shanghai, Jenoptik now has a state-of-the-art location covering more than 4,616 square meters over three floors. The new location includes large production area for projects and a service center with repair workshop to provide even better service to our customers.
