Founded in 2017, Zhenqu Technology is a high-tech company committed to providing domestic power semiconductors and drive solutions for new energy vehicles. Headquartered in Pudong, Shanghai, it has established multiple subsidiaries in Liuzhou, Guangxi; Pinghu, Zhejiang; Wuhu, Anhui; Lingang, Shanghai; Hangzhou, Zhejiang; and Aachen, Germany.
The company's founder, Dr. Shen Jie, graduated from RWTH Aachen University in Germany and previously worked at General Electric (GE) Germany and China's Central Research Institute, serving as Technical Operations Director and technical lead for several major core projects. He has extensive experience in power electronics industrialization. He holds over 80 authorized and pending invention patents globally, has published 40 SCI/EI papers, and has received IEEE Best Paper awards four times. He is also a Shanghai Top Talent, Lingang Outstanding Talent, and a director of the China Power Supply Society.
Since its establishment, leveraging outstanding design, manufacturing, and supply chain integration capabilities, Zhenqu Technology's forward-developed high-performance motor controllers for new energy vehicles and self-developed power modules have been designated for over 30 mass-production models by leading domestic and international passenger car OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers. These include domestic first-tier clients such as SAIC-GM-Wuling, Chery Automobile, Seres Automobile, and Changan Automobile, as well as renowned overseas clients such as Volvo, Schaeffler, Tata (India), Engiro, and Deutz, contributing to the green advancement of the automotive industry.
In the field of third-generation power semiconductors, Zhenqu has established a joint laboratory with Japan's ROHM Semiconductor and completed iterative development of multiple silicon carbide (SiC) modules. Currently, Zhenqu has entered deep cooperation with top international vehicle manufacturers and Tier-1 suppliers, exporting module products overseas with high-quality, stable supply.
Meanwhile, Zhenqu Technology has developed its own tool chain and established a comprehensive power module and electric control testing center, whose testing capabilities have obtained CNAS accreditation. This enables a complete one-stop testing and verification capability from power chips, power modules, and electric control units to powertrains.
Zhenqu Technology is widely recognized by all sectors of society and has received strategic investments from Volvo Cars and the Schaeffler Group, as well as strong support from leading domestic fund institutions including Legend Capital, CICC Capital, Oriza Hua, China Merchants Group Capital, Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Fund, Lenovo Capital, Shanghai International Group, and C Capital.
