As a leading enterprise undertaking the development of Shanghai's optoelectronics industry project, the company has received support from the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and the government. The company was listed as a major engineering construction project in Shanghai for two consecutive years in 2011 and 2012. JBD (Shanghai Xianyao Display Technology Co., Ltd.) was established in October 2015, with its R&D and production center located in Pudong, Shanghai, China; and in 2021, it invested in establishing Hefei Xianyao Integrated Circuit Technology Co., Ltd. as a future production base. JBD is the world's leading microdisplay technology enterprise and the world's first mass-produced MicroLED microdisplay chip enterprise. GaN Technology Semiconductor (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. was established in April 2015, and is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D and manufacturing of large-size, high-quality, low-cost free-standing GaN substrates and their key equipment HVPE. GaN Technology uses its independently developed HVPE equipment to grow GaN substrates, overcoming key technologies such as high-quality GaN growth processes, high-yield lift-off processes, and low-cost grinding and polishing processes. It has now become the first enterprise globally to mass-produce and sell 4-inch free-standing GaN substrates, with comprehensive substrate technical indicators at a leading level! GaN Technology has independent intellectual property rights throughout the entire process from equipment to epitaxial processes, and its HVPE equipment has been upgraded to the 6th generation. Currently, it has applied for 51 patents and has obtained high-tech enterprise certification.
