Johnson Matthey (Shanghai) Chemicals Limited was established in Songjiang, Shanghai on July 13, 2000, with manufacturing workshops, R&D centers, warehouses, and office facilities, covering a total area of over 79,000 square meters. It officially commenced production in 2001 and currently employs over 600 staff. Today, the Songjiang plant operates multiple production lines capable of producing a variety of products, including three-way catalysts, diesel oxidation catalysts, and CSF particulate filters.
