Johnson Matthey (Shanghai) Chemical Co., Ltd. was established in Songjiang, Shanghai on July 13, 2000. Production started in June 2001. It currently covers an area of 24,000 square meters with a total investment of 15 million US dollars. In June 2002, we obtained QS9000 and VDA6.1 certifications, and in May 2004, we obtained TS16949 certification.
The company's current products cover catalytic converters for passenger car exhaust purification, light gasoline and diesel vehicle exhaust purification catalysts, and motorcycle exhaust purification catalysts.
Since first producing catalysts to control vehicle exhaust pollution in 1974, Johnson Matthey has provided one-third of the world's automotive catalysts.
