Beijing Muhua Information Technology Co., Ltd. (XuetangX) is an educational technology enterprise initiated and established by Tsinghua University. As China's first MOOC platform constructed and operated by Tsinghua University in 2013, XuetangX serves as the research exchange and achievement application platform of the Ministry of Education's Online Education Research Center. Over the past decade, XuetangX has undertaken the national digitalization mission, enhancing the supply of digital educational resources through cutting-edge innovation and solid services, promoting the opening and sharing of educational resources, and driving the digital transformation and upgrading of higher education. To date, it has operated over 11,000 online courses, with the platform's registered users exceeding 160 million. Rain Classroom, developed by XuetangX and Tsinghua University, is one of the most active digital teaching tools in China, serving the digital transformation of more than 1,600 universities.
As a pioneer in online education in China, XuetangX actively develops solutions for AI-empowered education and teaching. Based on generative AI technology, XuetangX constructs personalized course enhancement models tailored to the characteristics of different disciplines, creating diverse intelligent scenarios such as AI teaching assistants and knowledge graphs to meet varied teaching needs and support the construction of AI-empowered teaching courses in Chinese universities.
