Founded in Shanghai in 2012, Shi+AR is a leading augmented reality open platform and augmented reality technology provider. Currently, our business spans multiple countries and regions worldwide, and our core product EasyAR has a market penetration rate of over 60% in China. In December 2017, Shi+ was recognized as a national high-tech enterprise.
"Bringing AR into daily life" is our mission. At present, we have set "Augmented Reality Open Platform" as our strategic goal, providing services such as augmented reality technology platform, AR mapping, AR cloud, and digital content. Leveraging our core AR technology and service team, Shi+AR maintains long-term partnerships with thousands of global enterprises, including ICBC, China Merchants Bank, Bank of Communications, Huawei, Tencent, Alipay, Autohome, Microsoft, VISA, and Unilever, offering AR solutions and quality services.
EasyAR, under Shi+AR, is the largest augmented reality technology platform in China. As of January 30, 2018, more than 40,000 developers worldwide have used our platform to develop AR applications and experiences, reaching hundreds of millions of end users.
Shi+AR is composed of three classmates who graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a group of young people full of dreams for the future and a geek spirit for technology. Our core technical team consists of masters and doctors from global institutions such as Carnegie Mellon University, University of California, San Diego, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Southeast University, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology, with profound academic attainments and rich engineering R&D experience in fields such as artificial intelligence and computer vision. Many team members have work backgrounds at renowned global companies such as Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent, JD.com, Shanda, Sharp, Marvell, Autodesk, NVIDIA, and ARM.
