Royal Caribbean International operates a fleet of 25 of the world's most innovative cruise ships, with itineraries covering many of the world's most popular travel destinations, such as the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, South America, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. As a rapidly growing cruise company in China, since launching the first homeport cruise route in Shanghai, China, in 2009, Royal Caribbean has been committed to leading the development of the cruise industry. It was the first to deploy and operate luxury cruise ships in the Chinese market, successively introducing two large-tonnage, newer, and technologically advanced vessels — "Voyager of the Seas" and "Mariner of the Seas" — leading China's cruise industry into the era of big ships.
