滨海县人民医院始建于1946年，是国家“二级甲等”综合性医院、“爱婴医院”、南通大学教学医院、卫生部国际紧急救援中心网络医院。是一所集医疗、教学、科研、预防保健、康复为一体的综合性医院。
医院占地面积4.96万平方米，建筑面积7.13万平方米，可开放床位800张。医院现有职工1200人(离退休195人)，高级职称185人，中级职称318人，研究生学历30人，本科学历540人。
