DBS Bank (China) Limited (DBS China) is a subsidiary of DBS Bank, a leading financial institution in Asia. Formerly known as the Development Bank of Singapore, DBS Bank established its China office in Beijing in 1993 and became a locally incorporated foreign bank in China in May 2007, the first among Singaporean banks and one of the first among foreign banks. Since then, DBS China's branch network and business have grown rapidly, currently with 12 branches and 23 sub-branches, and over 1,900 employees. DBS China's business focuses on corporate banking and wealth management.
