China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. Southwest Branch (hereinafter referred to as the Branch), as a regional company of China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., represents it in Sichuan, Chongqing, Hunan, Yunnan, Guizhou and other places to exercise general contracting management functions.

The Branch implements a two-level management system of headquarters and major project departments, with 14 functional departments under it, coordinating the management of more than 40 ongoing projects in 20 major project departments. It has over 2,000 registered employees, including 6 professor-level senior engineers, 72 senior professional titles, 12 national excellent project managers, and 66 first-class construction engineers.
The ongoing projects of the Branch mainly include: Western China International Expo City in Chengdu, Sichuan; Chengdu Museum New Building; Chengdu Ruihua Hotel; Shudu Wanda; Chongqing Jiangbeizui Junhao ICFC; Jiulong Xiyuan Public Rental Housing; Banan Wanda; Luneng Xingcheng; Shouchuang Hongen International; Changsha九龙仓 International Finance Center in Hunan; Xiangtan Wanda; Changsha Jinke; Kunming Xishan Wanda in Yunnan; Kunming Wancaicheng; Kunming Dashanghui Hope Garden; Kunming Runcheng Third Avenue; Renhuai International City in Guizhou; Ankang Tianmao City in Shaanxi, among others. Among them, the Changsha IJF International Finance Center with a height of 452 meters and the Kunming Xishan Wanda Plaza with a height of 307 meters will become the tallest buildings and landmark structures in Hunan Province and Yunnan Province respectively after completion; the Western China International Expo City, as a financing and investment project implemented by the Branch under engineering general contracting, has a total construction area of 720,000 square meters and a total investment of over 6 billion yuan. After completion, it will become the largest expo city in western China integrating exhibition display, conference center, and business center.
The Branch has successively won honors such as the National "May Day" Labor Medal, National Workers' Pioneer, National Excellent Enterprise in Engineering Construction Quality Management, National "Ankang Cup" Competition Winning Unit, National Advanced Unit for Ankang Culture Construction, National Advanced Unit for Labor Competition in Affordable Housing Projects, National Model Employee Small Home, Chongqing Civilized Unit, Chongqing AAA-level Credit Enterprise, Sichuan Province Excellent Enterprise in Construction Industry, and Sichuan Province Model Unit for Law-abiding and Creditworthiness in Construction Field.
