Huaqing Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. was established in January 2003 with a registered capital of HKD 96.5 million. It is located at Factory Building A4, Zone A, Minzhu Western Industrial Park, Jincheng Road, Shajing Street, Bao'an District, Shenzhen, and currently has more than 1,500 employees. Huaqing is a subsidiary of Weixiang Investment Company, a Taiwan OTC-listed group. The group headquarters is in Tucheng, Taipei. To date, Weixiang Group has developed into three subsidiaries: Weixiang Precision Co., Ltd. in Tucheng, Taipei; Weixiang Electronic Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. in Wujiang, Jiangsu; and Huaqing Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen, Guangdong.
The main business scope of Huaqing includes new electronic components, self-developed hardware and plastic molds, and the production of computer peripheral products, small household appliances, CNC machine tool precision machining, etc. At present, Huaqing's main products are connectors and card readers. The company continuously introduces precision high-tech equipment, recruits excellent management and technical talent, actively expands into international and domestic markets, and integrates development, production, talent reserves, and training.
Huaqing passed the QS9000 international quality certification standard in September 2003 and the ISO14000 environmental quality system certification in November of the same year.
The company has its own dormitories, cafeteria, and employee recreation rooms. Recreational facilities include a TV room, gym, large projection hall, dance hall, billiards, table tennis, library, welfare shop, etc. The company purchases social insurance for employees.
The normal working hours for employees are 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. Time beyond this is overtime, and overtime pay can be enjoyed upon application. For work beyond the normal 8-hour working day, or on Saturdays, Sundays, or national statutory holidays, the company will pay overtime or arrange equivalent compensatory time off. Overtime pay is calculated in accordance with the national labor law.
