Chongqing Light Industry & Textile Holding (Group) Company is a large state-owned holding group company established in August 2000 by the Chongqing Municipal Government on the basis of abolishing the former Municipal Light Industry Bureau, Municipal Textile Industry Bureau, and Municipal Building Materials Industry Bureau, with state-owned assets including enterprises, specialized companies, and research institutes under the jurisdiction of the three major industrial bureaus. Over the past 20-plus years, the Group has sought change through reform, strengthened itself through opening-up, shared through synergy, and strived for excellence through innovation. It has transformed from a traditional light industry and textile group into a multinational light industry group integrating three major industries: auto parts, high-end light industry, and modern services. It has 14 wholly-owned and controlling secondary enterprises and 77 enterprises at all levels, including 16 outside Chongqing, 19 overseas, and 2 listed companies. At present, the Group's total assets exceed 15 billion yuan, revenue scale reaches 10 billion yuan, asset-liability ratio is controlled within 65%, and it has more than 10,000 employees, including nearly 5,000 overseas employees. As Chongqing's largest multinational state-owned enterprise, the Group has 13 overseas factories, business spanning Asia, Europe, and the Americas, with an internationalization index of 43%; as a Chongqing light industry group that once owned the "Five Golden Flowers," we have served generations of Chinese people in clothing, food, housing, transportation, and daily use, and currently own well-known light industry and textile brands such as Lengsuanling, Longjing Paper, Beiyuan Glass, and Shanghai Sanmao.
