厦门弘爱医院是世界500强国有企业厦门建发集团牵头发起设立仁爱医疗基金会出资创办的三级非营利性综合医院。医院于2018年9月正式开业，2019年挂牌福建医科大学附属厦门弘爱医院（筹），2020年荣获中国非公立医疗机构协会双评*高等级：信用评价AAA级、能力评价五星级单位。
医院地处厦门岛内五缘湾片区，规划建筑总面积33万㎡，床位1380张，现已开设43个临床医技科室。医院配备3.0T核磁共振、超高端CT、*新一代直线加速器、双板数字减影血管造影X线机、PET-CT等高精尖、国际一流的医疗设备，设有国内首座硼中子俘获肿瘤治疗中心（AB-BNCT），福建省*术中磁共振数字一体化手术室，闽西南*台ROSA神经外科手术机器人。
医院组建的专家团队里有曾任或现任中华医学会、中国医师协会及其他国家一级协会所设专业委员会全国副主委 9 人，医学院校博士生导师 8 人，国务院特殊津贴专家 7人，获评福建省引进高层次人才 16人。
