The company has a registered capital of 19 billion yuan. The chairman of the company is Zhang Qingwei, and the general manager is Jin Zhuanglong. COMAC has under its jurisdiction Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute, Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Factory, AVIC Commercial Aircraft Co., Ltd., Shanghai Aviation Industry (Group) Co., Ltd., and will set up representative offices in Europe and the Americas. COMAC, following the operating model of 'main manufacturer-supplier', focuses on strengthening the construction of five capabilities: aircraft design and development, final assembly and manufacturing, marketing, customer service, and airworthiness certification, and follows the path of independent development, industrialization, marketization, and internationalization.
