Guangzhou Chengtai Transportation Electromechanical Engineering Co., Ltd., established in April 2006, is a company under the Guangzhou Road Engineering Research Institute and is currently the only enterprise under the Guangzhou Road Maintenance Center (formerly Guangzhou Highway Administration Bureau) engaged in highway technology and information services. Adhering to the concepts of promoting road development, management, environmental protection, and energy conservation through technology, the company has been engaged in the construction and maintenance of electromechanical projects for high-grade highways (including system integration for communication systems, monitoring systems, toll collection systems, etc.), intelligent transportation engineering, security engineering, and information technology services for over a decade. Currently, the company is developing business in three major directions: "construction, maintenance, and software," and is committed to modern enterprise management. Over the years, the company has been dedicated to building a strong technical team and now has more than 100 high-level technical personnel, including 86 employees with bachelor's degrees or above. Technological research and development serve as the core competitiveness of the enterprise, with remarkable achievements in both software and hardware development. In software development, the company has independently developed an informatization development platform and has formed a series of independently developed and copyrighted software products, including highway toll collection systems, remote monitoring and management systems, engineering project management systems, Guangdong Province three-level bill of quantities systems, and electronic bidding systems. Currently, the company is steadily expanding its market, cooperating with several well-known highway technology units inside and outside the province, participating in multiple intelligent transportation engineering and preventive road maintenance information technology innovation projects, and striving forward toward the goal of highway informatization and technological advancement.
