Wuhan BravoVax Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Wuhan BravoVax) was established in 2012. It is a "High-tech Enterprise" specializing in the research and development, manufacturing, and marketing of high-end human vaccines. It has obtained qualifications or honors such as "Hubei Provincial Engineering Laboratory for Novel Vaccines and Recombinant Proteins," "Hubei Provincial Enterprise Technology Center," "Hubei Provincial Biosafety Laboratory," and "Wuhan Gazelle Enterprise," and is a member of the Developing Countries Vaccine Manufacturers Network (DCVMN). The company is committed to the development and industrialization of heavyweight products such as human multivalent rotavirus vaccines and novel pneumococcal conjugate vaccines, striving to provide safe and effective high-quality vaccine products for China and the world.
The company currently has more than 110 employees, of whom 88% hold a bachelor's degree or above, and more than 46% hold a master's or doctoral degree or senior professional titles. It has a high-caliber vaccine research and industrialization team, and its core members have been selected into the "Hubei Provincial Independent Entrepreneurship Strategic Team," with strong technical strength and rich practical experience.
The company's management and technical team comes from well-known biopharmaceutical enterprises or institutions at home and abroad, such as China National Biotec Group, Sanofi Pasteur, Panacea, Serum Institute, and other biovaccine companies, covering various fields including research and development, production, quality management, marketing, procurement and logistics, registration, and intellectual property. They have an average of more than 20 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and have undergone multiple GMP inspections by domestic and foreign institutions, as well as biopharmaceutical project and patent applications in various countries, and can be called the "Dream Team" of the vaccine industry. In addition, the international technical team composed of a large number of foreign employees, while maintaining the characteristics of multiculturalism, also increases the company's vitality, vision, and cultural heritage.
At present, the company is developing a variety of novel vaccines with international standards and accelerating the industrialization process. These projects will enable BravoVax to have strong competitiveness in domestic and international markets. At the same time, the company is also committed to improving the comprehensive capacity and level of research, development, and transformation of domestic biovaccines, promoting industrial structural adjustment, and building advantageous and pillar industries, in line with the national strategic plan for the development of the biopharmaceutical industry.
BravoVax is currently negotiating international technology transfer of novel vaccines with government agencies or companies in Asia, Europe, and Latin America to promote the promotion and globalization of novel vaccines. At the same time, after several vaccines under development are launched, BravoVax will actively explore foreign markets while taking into account the domestic market, fully utilize the DCVMN platform, and carry out in-depth cooperation with international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance (GAVI), and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and governments of various countries, participate in global procurement of various vaccines; and in accordance with the policies and regulations of various countries on imported vaccines, carry out vaccine import registration and product sales overseas, providing safe, effective, and cost-effective novel vaccines to the world, especially developing countries. After the transformation of a series of novel vaccine achievements, it will fill the gaps in related varieties in China, directly add about 1,000 jobs in the high-end biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry, and is expected to boost local GDP by about 30 to 50 billion. To realize the company's grand blueprint, the company is about to start site selection and construction of an industrialization base.
