Tibet Julong Copper mainly operates a porphyry copper mine in China with prospective copper metal resources exceeding 20 million tons. The company currently holds two mining rights, Julong and Zhibula, as well as the Rongmu Cuola exploration right. The accumulated filed resources are: ore quantity of 28.328 billion tons, copper metal of 11.5038 million tons, molybdenum metal of 667,300 tons, silver metal of 7,256.12 tons, and gold of 8.03 tons. The first phase of the Tibet Julong Copper project has been fully completed and put into operation. Currently, the company is carrying out the expansion and renovation of the first phase (150,000 tons) and preparatory work for the second phase (200,000 tons). The parent company of Tibet Julong Copper, Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd., is a large transnational mining group primarily engaged in the exploration and development of metal mineral resources such as gold and copper. The company ranked 325th in Forbes 2022 and 7th among global metal mining enterprises; it ranked 407th in Fortune 2022 and 53rd among Fortune China.
