Banlan is a furniture brand with the academic creative direction of "Chinese Modern Style." Adhering to the concept of Chinese modern style, Banlan advocates the use of "restraint and concealment" in design, skillfully integrating the spirit of traditional Chinese art and philosophical thinking into the visual language of modern furniture.

Banlan is dedicated to innovative design, meticulous craftsmanship, and attentive service, implementing long-termism in every detail. Since 2022, Banlan has collaborated with distinguished designers such as British minimalist architectural master John Pawson, renowned Italian designer/architect Nicola Gallizia, famous Italian designer/architect Luca Nichetto, and BUKStudio under the Italian architectural firm Buratti Architetti, embarking on a product design journey that merges Eastern and Western cultures, deeply interpreting "Chinese Modern Style" from a multicultural perspective.

Banlan's strengths and weaknesses are the same—cautiousness and slowness, avoiding greed and haste, and pursuing the unpolished and the slow. We do not need sudden applause but value long-term recognition. Our materials and accessories are supplied by world-renowned suppliers, not for the sake of extravagance, but because materials that fail to please the eye and heart cannot be used.
Banlan's goal is not merely to become bigger and stronger, but to refine and deepen our specialty. Yet, aesthetics must always be present.

Development History:

2013 — Banlan manufacturing base established in Panyu, Guangzhou.

2015 — Banlan's independently designed products launched; ERP information management system and standardized management system implemented.

2017 — Banlan's distinctive lean management BPS launched; manufacturing and EHS systems comprehensively upgraded.

2018 — Banlan stores introduced architectural design concepts; 3D smart cloud design platform for interiors adopted.

2019 — Banlan's "Chinese Modern" furniture products debuted at the prestigious Asian international design exhibition—Design Shanghai; MES system launched, entering the "flow" era of efficient information flow driving material handling.

2020 — Made in China—Banlan formally pledged to consumers and launched the "10-Year Warranty"; Banlan cloud store launched during the "COVID year"; Loulan sofa won the Design Shanghai Picks 2020 Special Award at Design Shanghai.

2022 — Embarked on product design journey integrating Eastern and Western cultures with world-class designers, interpreting "Chinese Modern Style" from multicultural perspectives.
