Wuhan College

Wuhan College was established in 2003 with the approval of the Ministry of Education, and conducts unified national enrollment, offering full-time undergraduate and associate degree education. The institution is positioned to uphold the principle of rooting education in the Chinese context, follow the laws of higher education, adhere to a talent cultivation-centered approach, and focus on being "application-oriented, distinctive, and internationalized," striving to cultivate high-quality applied talents who meet the needs of economic and social development.

Wuhan College has eight schools and one teaching department, namely the School of Accounting, the School of Finance and Economics, the School of Management, the School of Information Engineering, the School of Law, the School of Foreign Languages, the School of Art and Media, the School of Marxism, and the Department of General Education. The institution has a large number of expert professors from well-known domestic and international universities such as the University of Massachusetts in the United States, the University of Reading in the United Kingdom, Université Paris* in France, the University of Sydney in Australia, Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, as well as part-time mentors from enterprises such as Huawei, Tencent, and JD.com. It currently has over 13,000 enrolled students.

The founder of the institution is Mr. Chen Yidan, a principal founder of Tencent, the initiator of the Tencent Charity Foundation, and the founder of the "Yidan Prize." Mr. Chen Yidan is known as the "godfather of China's internet philanthropy" and the "*person of internet philanthropy." With his approach of "running a school without seeking returns," he pioneered the establishment of non-profit public-interest universities in China.
