PONY Group Overview: PONY Testing Group is a well-known large-scale comprehensive inspection and certification group in China (hereinafter referred to as PONY Group), established in 2002, headquartered in Beijing, with 26 large-scale experimental bases, 42 wholly-owned subsidiaries, and more than 60 branches nationwide, employing over 6,000 staff, with a network covering the whole country and Hong Kong and Taiwan regions. Its business fields mainly include: food and agricultural products, health products, biomedicine, environmental safety monitoring, electronic products, automobiles, daily chemicals (including masks, disinfection products, etc.), medical testing, genes, toxicology, pathology, animal experiments, and other fields. The business fields basically cover important areas of China's national economy. In recent years, leveraging its strong scientific research and technical capabilities as well as advanced professional equipment, the group has successfully commercialized multiple rapid testing products, such as food safety rapid test kits, African swine fever virus rapid test kits, etc. (1) Food/Medicine/Health Food: It has the qualification to conduct food re-inspection testing. (2) Genetic Testing: In 2019, it obtained the qualification as an African swine fever testing institution of the Ministry of Agriculture after strict evaluation. (3) Toxicology safety and health food functional evaluation: Provide evaluation services. (4) Medical device testing and medical equipment calibration services: Provide professional and independent medical device testing, medical equipment calibration, quality control of medical equipment, and acceptance of medical devices. (5) PONY Medical Laboratory in Beijing: Beijing PONY Medical Inspection Laboratory is a wholly-owned subsidiary of PONY Testing Group, holding a medical institution license and a PCR amplification laboratory qualification certificate, and is one of the first batch of COVID-19 nucleic acid testing institutions for individuals and groups announced by the Beijing Health Commission. (6) Cosmetic human efficacy ingredient testing: PONY Group has 9 laboratories with qualifications for non-special cosmetic filing testing, and also conducts cosmetic toxicology and human efficacy experiments.
