Xuyang Group was founded in 1995, headquartered in Beijing, and has now developed into a large enterprise group with coordinated development of business segments including coke, chemicals, new materials, new energy, and technology. It owns two listed companies: China Xuyang Group (1907.HK) and Binhai Energy (000695.SZ). It operates ten chemical industrial parks in Xingtai, Dingzhou, Leting, and Cangzhou in Hebei Province; Yuncheng and Dongming in Shandong Province; Xiaoyi in Shanxi Province; Hohhot and Shangdu in Inner Mongolia; and Pingdingshan in Henan Province, as well as one park under construction in Sulawesi, Indonesia. In 2021, Xuyang Group achieved sales revenue of RMB 81 billion, EBITDA of RMB 7.5 billion, and taxes and profits of RMB 7.4 billion. It has ranked among the "Top 500 Chinese Enterprises" and "Top 50 Chinese Chemical Enterprises" for 13 consecutive years. In the first half of 2022, it achieved sales revenue of RMB 52 billion, with an expected full-year sales revenue exceeding RMB 100 billion. It currently employs 15,100 people, including a research and development team of over 1,000 members composed of postdoctoral researchers, PhDs, and professional technical personnel. Xuyang Group can produce 79 products across four major categories: coke, chemical products, material products, and energy products, with an annual coke production capacity of 14.1 million tons, chemical production capacity of 5.6 million tons, and new material and new energy production capacity of 400,000 tons. Additionally, it has 8 million tons of coke and 2.5 million tons of chemical production capacity under construction. It is the world's largest coke producer and supplier, the world's largest coking crude benzene processor, the world's third-largest coal tar processor, China's largest coke oven gas-to-methanol producer, and China's largest industrial naphthalene-to-phthalic anhydride producer. Xuyang Group has been awarded the titles of National Green Factory, Hebei Province Green Park, and Hebei Province-level Clean Production Pilot Demonstration Park. All its facilities meet or exceed national safety and environmental protection standards, with various energy-saving and environmental indicators at leading levels. By implementing the strategy of "Complete Automation, Thorough Automation, Complete Informatization, Thorough Informatization," Xuyang Group has established over 100,000 data collection points, enabling real-time collection and monitoring of production operations to support decision-making, with its level of industrialization and informatization integration at a leading position. Xuyang Group adheres to technology research and innovation-driven development, building a three-tier independent innovation R&D system and forming a complete R&D industrial chain from "creativity - lab-scale testing - pilot testing - industrialization - engineering design." Focusing on high-precision, high-value-added chemical products, Xuyang conducts systematic R&D, achieving core technological breakthroughs and has obtained 396 proprietary technologies and 559 patented technologies and software copyrights.
