CASIC Century Satellite

Beijing Aerospace Science and Industry Century Satellite Technology Co., Ltd., established in September 2000, is a third-level subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), affiliated with the First Academy of CASIC. It is a high-tech enterprise specializing in satellite communications and satellite navigation. In 2021, it was successfully selected into Beijing's "Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative" SME list. The company focuses on space information applications, resolutely fulfills its primary responsibility of strengthening the military, adheres to high-quality development, and has cultivated and formed five core businesses: "system integration, satellite antenna products, automatic antenna feeder products, Beidou time synchronization products, and simulation training equipment," as well as two strategic businesses: "high-throughput satellite communications and data links." Its main customers include various military branches, as well as large central enterprises and national commissions and bureaus such as China Mobile, the National Emergency Communications Bureau, the Armed Police, Public Security, Water Resources, and Electric Power. In 2018, with the filing of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) and the approval of the group company, the company became one of the first national pilot units for equity incentives in technology-based enterprises and the first in CASIC. After two implementations with dynamic adjustments in between, 44 equity incentive recipients jointly built a "partner entrepreneurship platform" based on aerospace, creating a stronger atmosphere for entrepreneurship and steadily consolidating the community of the enterprise, shareholders, and employees, leading the company into a stage of rapid development. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the company will focus on the vision of "building a leading domestic satellite communications company," anchor on the positioning of "providing space-based information support and enhancing combat effectiveness," adhere to the strategic thinking of "rooted in aerospace and people-oriented for dedicated employees," accelerate the integration of talent and technological resources, build a benchmark enterprise for equity incentive pilots, and contribute greater and more powerful forces to fulfill the corporate mission of "strengthening the military through technology and serving the country through aerospace."
