南湖社区卫生服务中心是一所二级医院转型的社区医院，中心职工有一百多人，其中77名医疗技术人员，高级职称13人、中级职称23人，初级职称47人，中高级医疗技术人员占43%。
中心急诊设有急诊室、抢救室；门诊设有全科医疗科、专家门诊、口腔科、中医科、针灸推拿理疗室、康复训练室、妇科、计划生育手术室、公共卫生科、计划免疫门诊、妇女保健科、儿童保健科、老年保健科、医学检验科、放射科、超声诊断室、胃镜室、心电图室等科室；住院部设有50张康复病床，病房设施设备齐全。中心拥有全科诊断系统、全自动生化分析仪、五分类血球计数分析仪、数字化医用X线摄影系统（DR）、彩色B超、24小时动态心电图、24小时动态血压仪，以及中医、康复、理疗等医疗设备。
