Yunnei Power Group was established in 1956. The company is a large state-owned group enterprise, a national high-tech enterprise, an international science and technology cooperation base, and in 2015, it was approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee to establish a "Postdoctoral Research Workstation." After more than 60 years of development, through a series of strategic plans such as resource integration, business expansion, comprehensive development, and strengthening and solidifying, the company currently has multiple subsidiaries, with business involving engines, auto parts, agricultural machinery, new energy vehicles, and energy-saving new materials, among other fields.
Yunnei Power Group has established automotive and engine R&D centers in Kunming, Wuxi, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Chengdu, Guiyang, etc., and in 2014, it was jointly recognized by the National Development and Reform Commission and other four departments as the "*** Enterprise Technology Center," building an integrated R&D technology platform covering engines, transmissions, frames, compartments, and complete vehicle manufacturing.
