Zhuhai Huafa Group Co., Ltd. was established in 1980, the same year as the Zhuhai Special Economic Zone, and is the largest comprehensive state-owned enterprise group in Zhuhai and a leading enterprise of national renown. Since 2016, it has been listed among the "Top 500 Chinese Enterprises" for six consecutive years, ranking 203rd in 2021, with operating revenue exceeding 140 billion yuan and total profits and taxes exceeding 22 billion yuan. It was also selected as a "Double Hundred Enterprise" in the state-owned enterprise reform initiative of the State Council. The Huafa Urban Operations segment was initiated in 2009, starting with Shizimen Central Business District, and pioneered an urban development and operation model of "industry-city integration, industry-finance integration, government-led, and enterprise-operated." It has developed five leading capabilities in the industry: planning and design, development and construction, capital assurance, industrial development, and operation management. From 2017 to 2022, it was named among the "Top 10 Comprehensive Strength of China's New Industry City Operators" for six consecutive years. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Huafa Group proactively implemented the national "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" dual-carbon strategy, vigorously venturing into the photovoltaic new energy sector. It has invested in industry leaders such as Qinghai Lihao, a benchmark high-purity crystalline silicon enterprise; Gokin Solar, a leading global photovoltaic silicon wafer company; and Aiko Solar, the world's largest battery supplier, achieving a layout spanning the mid-to-upstream photovoltaic industry chain of crystalline silicon raw materials, silicon rods/silicon wafers, and solar cells, and penetrating key supporting segments such as photovoltaic silver paste, inverters, and energy storage. In the future, Huafa Group, through its subsidiary under the Urban Operations segment, Zhuhai Huafa New Energy Construction and Operation Co., Ltd., will integrate industrial chain advantages to build a downstream business pattern covering photovoltaics, energy storage, source-grid-load-storage integration, solar-storage-charging integration, and building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), becoming a well-known new energy photovoltaic investment, construction, and operation operator.
