Beijing Blue Sky Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Beijing Blue Sky) was established in 1975, formerly the Aviation Simulator Research Institute under the former Ministry of Aerospace Industry. It is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the research and development of aviation simulation equipment, and the only domestic supplier of aviation simulators that has successfully developed a D-level simulator with fully independent intellectual property rights. Beijing Blue Sky has successively developed China's first flight simulator, first fixed-wing aircraft simulator, first helicopter simulator, first C-level simulator, and first D-level simulator with fully independent intellectual property rights. It has undertaken the development of flight test platforms, engineering simulators, and high-level full-motion simulators for domestic civil aircraft such as COMAC ARJ21, C919, CR929, and AVIC XAC's MA60 and MA600, produced simulators for multiple types of fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters for the Air Force, Navy, Army, and Armed Police Force, and exported dozens of large flight training devices to more than 10 countries and regions in Asia, Africa, and South America. It is an enterprise with the longest history, strongest technical strength, and the largest number of production models and quantities in the industry. Beijing Blue Sky's independent research and development has also won broad recognition from the industry and customers; the company has successively received honors such as the "First Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award", "First Prize of Science and Technology Award of Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics", "Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Ministry of Aerospace Industry", and "Third Prize of National Science and Technology Award".
