广东省医疗器械管理学会于2012年经广东省民政厅批准正式注册成立，是一个由广东省范围内从事医疗器械管理、研发、检验、生产、经营、教学及使用等单位及专家学者，在自愿的基础上联合组成的非营利社会团体。学会现有成员1000余名，其中会员单位600家，专家学者600余名，下设临床体外诊断产品（IVD）专业委员会、医疗器械临床试验专业委员会，现任会长单位为广州维力医疗器械股份有限公司。学会接受广东省民政厅和广东省药品监督管理局的监督管理和业务指导，学会秉承着“服务会员、服务监管、服务产业发展”服务宗旨，团结广大从事医疗器械质量管理、学术研究、科技开发、生产经营使用的工作者，发展医疗器械高新技术学科，参与政府有关部门决策咨询，促进产、学、研相结合，推动广东省医疗器械产业的健康发展。
