浙江省交通运输科学研究院（Zhejiang Scientific Research Institute of Transport）前身为创建于1979年的浙江省交通科学研究所，是省属公益二类事业单位。2018年启动与浙江公路水运咨询有限责任公司、浙江交科工程检测有限公司等行业科创资源融合提升，打造浙江未来交通科创中心。2021年，科研、经营板块，以“一体两翼、双轮驱动”发展宗旨深度融合，在战略规划政策、智慧交通（人工智能）创新研究、通用航空发展、轨道交通发展、公路水运技术创新研究、运输与绿色安全发展研究、工程技术审查评估、产业发展与成果转化等领域开展科研与技术服务；在公路水运工程咨询管理（全过程咨询，规划研究、勘察设计、咨询评估、招标代理、建设管理、施工监理）、高速公路智能收费管理及拓展业务、信息化（开发、运营、维护、应用）、工程检测、港航经济、物业管理、电子口岸开展经营业务。 截至2021年10月，交科院共有在职员工1700余人，其中高级职称370多名（含正高55名），拥有部省级专家60名，浙江省151人才3名，交通运输部科技英才3名，加盟院士首席科学家3名、*人才6名、中国公路学会百优工程师4人。科研板块下设6所2中心，经营板块下设12个公司。
