Founded in August 2014, Yingchuang Technology Group is primarily engaged in the design, development, and sales of virtual reality (VR), mixed reality (MR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR) equipment and solutions, research and development of basic science and applied technology and products in the field of optical components, and development and services of artificial intelligence algorithms and cloud rendering technology. Headquartered in Shanghai, the group has subsidiaries and offices in multiple cities including Nanchang, Chengdu, Qingdao, Chongqing, Beijing, and Nanjing, gradually forming a sales and technical support network covering major domestic regions such as North China, East China, and West China.
Yingchuang Technology currently has more than 400 employees, of whom 300 are R&D personnel, forming a preliminary three-tier R&D system of underlying algorithm technology, prototype development, and mass production research, achieving a full industry chain technology layout and a closed-loop ecosystem. In 2016, Yingchuang Technology established the Quantum Machine Learning Laboratory, committed to applying quantum artificial intelligence technology to the XR industry. In 2019, it was officially awarded the "Pudong New Area Enterprise Postdoctoral Research Workstation"; it established the Fudan-Yingchuang Optical Chip Joint Research Center with the School of Microelectronics at Fudan University, leveraging complementary strengths to jointly develop advanced two-dimensional grating diffractive waveguide lenses, nanoimprint equipment, EDA software, and more.
Yingchuang Technology is a global strategic partner of Qualcomm, engaging in deep cooperation with Qualcomm in the fields of VR, AR, and MR. In 2020, Yingchuang Technology and Qualcomm established a joint research center in Nanchang, Jiangxi, dedicated to promoting technology upgrades and application adaptation of Qualcomm's XR chip platform. Yingchuang Technology has also reached cooperation with China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom, the three major telecom operators, and is an important member of China Mobile's "5G Terminal Pioneer Industry Alliance", China Unicom's 5G Innovation Center, and China Telecom's Smart Home Ecosystem.
