Zhonglan Shixun Media Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2015. In early 2016, it received its first round of financing from several investment companies including Rushan Capital. In 2018, it received Series A financing from Tencent Capital. Currently the company has nearly 200 employees and has established subsidiaries in Chengdu, Xi'an and other places. Zhonglan Shixun is a dual high-tech enterprise at the national and Zhongguancun levels, and holds relevant industry certificates such as the Radio and Television Program Production License. Zhonglan Shixun is based on producing high-quality video content and owns a high-quality video platform (Kanjian). 1) It is a content provider for China Central Television, producing various large-scale documentaries (nearly a hundred episodes of large-scale documentaries provided each year) and programs. 2) It is also a content cooperation provider for central ministries and local governments. 3) It has reached strategic cooperation with many global enterprises. The company is divided into three business segments: 1) Large-scale video program production. 2) Short video platform "Kanjian". 3) "Kanjian Education"—video courses mainly focused on Chinese language for children aged 5-12.
