China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "China Energy"), established in August 1987, is a comprehensive energy service provider under China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach), integrating energy investment and operation, energy engineering construction, energy technology R&D, and energy finance and trade services. It enjoys a high reputation in domestic and overseas energy engineering investment and general contracting of energy projects.

The company's headquarters is located in Shanghai, and it has multiple holding and participating companies in Beijing, Tianjin, Chongqing, Shandong, Hebei, Zhejiang, Guizhou, Xinjiang and other places, and has overseas representative offices in the United States, Indonesia, Cambodia, the United Arab Emirates, Belarus, South Africa, Zimbabwe and other countries.

After years of development and accumulation, China Energy is gradually forming a comprehensive development pattern in the energy field, continuously improving the upstream and downstream extension of the industrial chain. It holds important qualifications and certificates including Class A design qualifications in electric power, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, light textile, construction, planning, municipal, and environmental industries, as well as Class A qualifications in urban planning, general engineering contracting, engineering consulting, and engineering supervision. It ranked 22nd among the "Top 100 Chinese Enterprises by Newly Signed Contracts in Foreign Contracted Projects in 2015" issued by the Department of Outward Investment and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce.
