上海金盾保安服务有限公司（以下简称“金盾”）是“上海市保安协会”，“上海市安防报警协会” 会员单位；是获得上海市公安局颁发“保安服务许可证”的企业之一，公司通过了ISO9001：2015质量管理体系认证，并获得了保安服务企业一级资质证书。
金盾公司机构自1992年11月起，先后受公安部治安管理局、中国人民警官大学、中国消防协会和中国保安协会直接领导。从2002年起作为公安部治安管理局及中国保安协会上海培训基地，协助组织开展了《保安员国家职业标准》的起草和制订、《保安员国家职业标准》培训系列教材的编撰，对全国保安高级管理人员进行岗位培训，开展各种保安管理人员包括高级保安管理人员、特种保安（贴身护卫）、消防安全管理人员及派驻保安服务业务。为适应新的经济发展要求，根据公安部对相关工作的指示精神，金盾保安机构进行改制，于2008年注册成立上海金盾保安服务有限公司。
