Sichuan Friendship Hospital is a large-scale tertiary Grade A comprehensive hospital integrating medical care, teaching, scientific research, and preventive healthcare, approved by the Sichuan Provincial Health Commission. The hospital officially began operations in December 2014. On July 23, 2019, it integrated into the Yingkang Life listed company under Haier Group. In April 2021, the hospital successfully upgraded to a tertiary Grade A comprehensive hospital after on-site review; in June 2021, it became a GCP clinical trial base. The hospital has a building area of over 50,000 square meters, with 600 beds set up and open. The hospital has a full range of disciplines, with over 40 clinical and medical technology departments. Among them, general surgery is a key specialty of Sichuan Province, respiratory medicine is a key construction specialty of Chengdu, and neurosurgery has been selected as one of the first batch of "Neurosurgery Construction Centers" by the National Health Commission.
