It was jointly established by China Foreign Trade Centre (Group) (hereinafter referred to as the Foreign Trade Centre Group) and Shanghai Donghao Lansheng International Service Trade (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Donghao Lansheng Group), based on the framework agreement between the Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal Government for co-constructing the National Exhibition Project. The company is responsible for investment and construction, venue operation, and exhibition development of the National Exhibition Project. The registered capital of National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is 7.5 billion yuan, with the Foreign Trade Centre Group holding 60% and Donghao Lansheng Group holding 40%. The composition of shareholders highlights the strong combination of exhibition industry resources and operational advantages. The Foreign Trade Centre Group has extensive experience in hosting the China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) held twice a year in spring and autumn; Donghao Lansheng Group is the first enterprise group in China specializing in service trade, having played an important role in the bidding, preparation, and hosting of the Shanghai World Expo. Its years of market-oriented operation have formed advantages in human resources, exhibition communication, and trade services. The National Exhibition Project has a total building area of 1.47 million square meters, with 400,000 square meters of indoor exhibition halls and 100,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition space, complemented by a commercial center of 150,000 square meters, office facilities of 180,000 square meters, and a five-star hotel of 60,000 square meters. It is positioned to become the world's largest, most advanced, and most competitive exhibition complex. Exhibition hall operation and management: daily operation and management of the exhibition complex, and leasing of exhibition venues. 3. Exhibition development and operation: organizing, co-organizing, and undertaking domestic and overseas exhibitions, conferences, and large-scale events. 4. Comprehensive supporting services for exhibitions: operation and management of office and supporting commercial service facilities, booth construction, advertising design, exhibition consulting, publishing information, e-commerce, warehousing and logistics, catering services, etc.
