China Railway 15th Bureau

China Railway 15th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. traces its origins to the Fifth Division of the Railway Corps of the People's Liberation Army of China, formed from the merger of the Fifth and Sixth Divisions. In January 1984, in accordance with orders from the State Council and the Central Military Commission, it was collectively transferred to civilian service and incorporated into the Ministry of Railways, becoming the 15th Engineering Bureau of the Ministry of Railways. In December 1999, it was separated from the Ministry of Railways and renamed as China Railway 15th Engineering Bureau. In April 2001, it was officially renamed as China Railway 15th Bureau Group Co., Ltd.

China Railway 15th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. is a construction force under China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC), which ranks 39th among the Fortune Global 500. It is a state-owned construction engineering general contracting enterprise integrating design, construction, and scientific research, and is the first enterprise in Shanghai to hold four special-grade qualifications for general contracting, including railway engineering construction, highway engineering construction, municipal public utility engineering construction, and building engineering construction. Additionally, it possesses Class A (II) qualifications for railway industry design, Class A qualifications for highway industry design, Class A qualifications for building industry design, Class A qualifications for municipal industry design, and Class A qualifications for geological disaster control engineering; first-grade qualifications for general contracting of water conservancy and hydropower engineering construction; and first-grade professional contracting qualifications for bridge engineering, tunnel engineering, highway pavement, highway subgrade, and railway track laying and beam erection. It also has the qualification to conduct foreign economic cooperation business.

The Group is currently recognized as a "National Technology Center," a "National Advanced Enterprise for Quality and Efficiency," a "National Enterprise Observed Contracts and Keeping Promises," a "National Advanced Unit for Spiritual Civilization Construction," a "Model Collective of Central Enterprises," a "Shanghai Top Ten Cultural Innovation Brand," and a "Shanghai Civilized Unit." In recent years, it has successively received honors such as the "National Special Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress," the "First Prize for Modernization Management Innovation Achievements in National Construction Enterprises," the "National May Day Labor Medal," was rated as a "Model Workers' Home" by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, and was among the first batch of national "Ankang Cup" competition demonstration enterprises. It has completed 319 scientific and technological development projects, obtained 10 national construction methods, 75 provincial and ministerial-level construction methods, 3 national science and technology progress awards, over 130 provincial and ministerial-level science and technology progress awards, and 312 authorized independent intellectual property rights; created 7 new Chinese enterprise records, won 10 Luban Prizes for Chinese Construction Engineering, and 8 Zhan Tianyou Prizes for China Civil Engineering; and has won the national "Ankang Cup" competition excellence award for 19 consecutive years.
