The Nicor Lighting Story

NICOR Lighting was formed in the early 1980's in order to fulfill a need for ceiling fans within the Lighting Showroom niche of the lighting market. Working closely with designers and product specialists, NICOR was the first company to introduce the "Uni-Pack" concept of having the fan, blades, and light kit all in one package.

Starting with only 6 items in our initial product offering, NICOR now offers over 2000 products including Ceiling Fans, track lighting and recessed lighting. Other specialty lighting products, such as our LED Under Cabinet, Alluminator and EcoBay High Bay fixtures, and entrance chimes and emergency lighting have been introduced over the years.

NICOR continues to expand and was quick to embrace sustainable energy solutions and efficient products. We offer many LED lights and fluorescent lights that are more energy efficient and cost reducing.

The growth of NICOR has been steady and consistent in large part due to its reputation for excellent customer service and high quality standards. Today NICOR light fixtures and other products can be found in local lighting showrooms and are available through distributors and contractors across the country.
