Chia Tai China's agricultural and livestock enterprises entered Hunan in 1986. It has now established 4 feed mills, 5 breeding and food companies, and 1 food sales company, with a total of more than 1,000 employees, located in Changsha, Hengyang, Huaihua, Yueyang, and Chenzhou. The total investment reaches RMB 1.5 billion. It has feed mills with an annual capacity of 840,000 tons, produces 18 million day-old chicks annually, provides 6.5 million broilers annually, produces 60,000 breeding pigs and 140,000 market hogs annually, and drives employment for nearly 10,000 people.
On March 16, 2010, the Hunan Provincial Government and Chia Tai Group officially signed the "Agreement on Cooperative Construction of a 1-Million-Head Pig Industrialization Project" at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The entire project involves an investment of nearly RMB 3.6 billion and will eventually build a complete agricultural and livestock industry chain from breeding pig reproduction, standardized breeding, feed processing, and deep food processing.

Changsha Chia Tai Co., Ltd. is an investment project signed by Thailand's Chia Tai Group and the Changsha County People's Government in August 1995 at the "Hunan Investment Fair." The company is a large comprehensive feed production enterprise solely invested by Thailand.
Changsha Chia Tai Co., Ltd. was established on October 13, 1995, and officially began production on January 1, 1997. The company's business scope includes the production of compound feed and concentrated feed as well as related technical services and sales. It covers an area of more than 116 mu, with a total investment of RMB 300 million and registered capital of RMB 134 million. It is currently one of China's most advanced feed factories. On December 7, 2020, Changsha Chia Tai Co., Ltd.'s new plant officially landed in Kaifu District, where it ushered in a new chapter of development.
