Guangdong Electric Power Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Development Company") was established in December 1987. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guangdong Energy Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guangdong Energy Group") and serves as the Group's specialized platform company for the new energy sector, with its main business being investment, construction, operation, and related supporting services for new energy projects. The Development Company has always been committed to creating green energy with dedication, actively expanding nationwide and strategically developing photovoltaic power generation and other clean energy power generation businesses. Since the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the company's installed capacity of photovoltaic power generation has achieved rapid growth, and its market competitiveness and influence have been continuously strengthened. As of the end of June 2025, the total assets of the Development Company amount to approximately RMB 29 billion, with 524 employees. It owns 66 wholly-owned enterprises, 13 holding enterprises, 12 equity-participated enterprises, 1 partnership enterprise, 2 actually controlled enterprises, and 1 entrusted management enterprise. The total installed capacity of its photovoltaic power stations is nearly 5.93 million kilowatts, with industrial layout covering 15 prefecture-level cities in Guangdong Province, the municipality of Chongqing, and 14 other provinces including Hebei, Shandong, Shanxi, Hainan, and Yunnan. It has become a leading enterprise in the photovoltaic power generation industry in Guangdong Province. Looking ahead, the Development Company will conscientiously implement the Provincial Party Committee's "1310" specific deployment and Guangdong Energy Group's "123 High-Quality Development Strategy".
