Shanghai Safran Fei Aviation Cable Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a joint venture jointly invested by France's Safran and Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of COMAC, and was officially registered in April 2012. As a joint venture of both parties, Shanghai Safran Fei focuses on the design, development, and production of EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems) to support the Asia-Pacific aviation market. The joint venture has begun the execution of C919 EWIS related work.
