Chongqing Huantou Renewable Resources Development Co., Ltd. is a state-controlled enterprise approved by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and affiliated with the Chongqing Environmental Protection Bureau. Founded in September 2016, it is located at No. 252 Qishan Road, Ranjiaba, Yubei District, Chongqing (within the Chongqing Environmental Protection Bureau).

The company specializes in solid waste utilization and treatment, contaminated soil remediation, environmental overall solution formulation and third-party services. It is building the Chongqing Solid Waste Resource Utilization and Disposal Center and the Contaminated Soil Remediation Engineering Technology Center. After completion and operation, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of more than 870 million yuan, pay about 50 million yuan in taxes, create more than 500 new jobs, and reduce carbon emissions by about 10,000 tons of standard coal. Relying on expert teams from the Institute of Solid Waste Pollution Control Technology of the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, Chongqing University, etc., it is committed to taking the path of resource recycling of solid waste and ecological transformation of the solid waste industry, to building a leading enterprise in solid waste treatment in Chongqing, and to building a municipal-level solid waste environmental protection industrial park in Chongqing. The construction contents include: reception and metering facilities; analysis, testing and identification facilities; industrial solid waste classification and compatibility facilities; waste temporary storage facilities; incineration facilities; resource utilization facilities; physicochemical treatment facilities; stabilization/solidification facilities; safe landfill site; supporting environmental treatment facilities, etc.

II. Chongqing Contaminated Soil Remediation Engineering Technology Center

It covers an area of about 180 mu, with a total investment of about 200 million yuan. Relying on expert teams from the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, Peking University, Southwest University, Chongqing University, Chongqing Academy of Environmental Science, etc., it is committed to improving the technical and management level of contaminated soil treatment and remediation in the city, to solving practical difficulties in the treatment and remediation of contaminated sites, and to promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the soil remediation industry. The construction contents include: a platform for evaluation, testing and verification of contaminated soil technical solutions; a platform for research, development and display of soil remediation technology; a platform for development and trial production of remediation agents and equipment; a base for contaminated soil treatment and resource utilization; a technical service platform for talent training and technical consulting; and a technical service platform for providing prevention and treatment for soil pollution of newly built and under-construction industrial enterprises.
