Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") is located in the core area of Ningdong Energy Chemical Base, an important part of the base and one of the earliest backbone enterprises to settle in the base. Adhering to the concept of green development, the Company vigorously promotes scientific and technological innovation, strives to build a green, low-carbon circular economy industrial chain, and actively promotes the construction of a resource-saving and environment-friendly society. By integrating first-class technologies and equipment from both domestic and international sources, the Company has formed a multi-generation circular economy industrial chain of "coal, coke, gas, chemical, oil, and electricity," realizing the transformation of coal resources from fuel to chemical raw materials and their clean and efficient utilization. It is a typical demonstration enterprise of coal-based multi-generation circular economy. The Company was established in 2005. After more than ten years of development, it has achieved an annual production capacity of 5.1 million tons of coal mining, 10 million tons of coal washing and processing, 4 million tons of coking, 1.7 million tons of methanol, 300,000 tons of polyethylene, 300,000 tons of polypropylene, 300,000 tons of coal tar processing, 100,000 tons of crude benzene hydrogenation, 200,000 tons of C4 processing, and 90,000 tons of C4 isomerization. Supporting facilities such as power stations, wastewater treatment, and logistics transportation have been built. The second 600,000 tons per year olefin project under construction has introduced more advanced process technology to achieve high-end products. After completion and operation, this project will add 300,000 tons per year of polyethylene (including metallocene products), 300,000 tons per year of polypropylene, 800,000 tons per year of refined methanol, and 227,000 tons per year of LNG capacity, further enhancing the Company's core competitiveness. Based on coal mining, the Company produces clean coal through washing and processing; clean coal is coked to produce coke and by-product coke oven gas; after stepwise purification, the coke oven gas yields sulfur, ammonium sulfate, coal tar, and crude benzene, forming purified coke oven gas. By combining the characteristics of hydrogen-rich but carbon-lean coke oven gas and carbon-rich but hydrogen-lean coal gas, methanol is produced, which is then converted into ethylene and propylene via the DMTO process, and subsequently into polyethylene and polypropylene through polymerization, with C4 and C5 as by-products. Coal tar is deep-processed to produce modified asphalt, industrial naphthalene, anthracene oil, wash oil, light oil, and phenol oil; crude benzene is hydrorefined to produce petroleum-grade pure benzene, mixed benzene, xylene, heavy benzene, and non-aromatics; C4 is deep-processed to produce MTBE, 1-butene, and heavy C4, which is further isomerized to produce MTBE and propane. The Company adheres to overall planning and scientific layout, concentrating coal mines, coal preparation plants, coking plants, methanol plants, olefin plants, coal tar processing, crude benzene hydrogenation, C4 processing, C4 isomerization, and the second olefin project within one industrial park, optimizing the scale of auxiliary facilities, reducing project investment, and lowering fixed costs, transaction costs, logistics costs, labor costs, and management expenses.
