GAGO

GAGO is a big data application company that serves industries such as agriculture, environment, finance, and insurance through satellite and meteorological big data collection, processing, analysis, and visualization systems. GAGO was founded in Silicon Valley in 2013 and registered Beijing GAGO Technology Co., Ltd. in China in 2015. The founding team members graduated from Tsinghua University, Peking University, and the University of California, Berkeley, and have worked at globally renowned organizations such as NASA, the U.S. Department of Energy National Laboratories, ERM, Baidu, and Monsanto, possessing extensive and unique experience in big data, deep learning, and agriculture. GAGO utilizes real-time ground and meteorological data collected from dozens of satellites and drones from China, the U.S., and Europe, integrates comprehensive information on soil, plots, crops, and agricultural materials, and through its proprietary image analysis and data analytics algorithms, provides full industry chain data support and management-level services including area measurement, suitable area planning, production cycle estimation, yield prediction, pest and disease control guidance, crop protection, irrigation planning, agricultural machinery dispatch, and agricultural finance. In July 2015, GAGO completed its angel round financing of tens of millions of RMB from Matrix Partners China and Pangu Capital, and in April 2017, completed its Series A financing of 60 million RMB led by DCM.
