Huya Inc. was established in August 2016. It is a technology-driven content company with game live streaming as its core business, committed to building a leading live streaming platform. Its products include the well-known game live streaming platform Huya Live, and Nimo TV, a game live streaming platform popular in Southeast Asia and South America. The products cover PC, Web, and mobile terminals.
Huya Live is a leading game live streaming platform, covering over 3,000 games, and has gradually expanded to include diversified bullet-comment interactive live content such as entertainment, variety shows, education, outdoor, and sports. In Q3 2019, Huya's domestic average MAU (Monthly Active Users) and mobile average MAU were 146.1 million and 63.8 million, respectively.
On May 11, 2018, Huya Inc. was listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "HUYA", becoming the first listed game live streaming platform in China. After this milestone, Huya has continuously consolidated and expanded its market presence. In mid-2018, Huya entered into a strategic cooperation with Tencent Games and launched its overseas product Nimo TV to enter the international market, successively entering Southeast Asia and Latin America. In Q3 2019, Nimo TV's global total MAU increased to approximately 17 million.
In June 2019, Huya relocated its headquarters and announced the launch of a new corporate logo, indicating a more diversified strategic layout to continue providing high-quality and rich live content to a broader user base.
