Changjiang Waterway Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is a large state-owned construction enterprise affiliated with the Ministry of Transport. It has under its jurisdiction four waterway engineering bureaus in Nanjing, Wuhan, Yichang, and Chongqing, the Wuhan Changjiang Waterway Rescue and Salvage Bureau, the Changjiang Chongqing Shipping Engineering Survey and Design Institute, the East China Branch, the Central China Branch, the South China Branch, the Southwest Branch, Shanghai Changtong Dredging Engineering Co., Ltd., and other units. It possesses construction qualifications including Special Grade for General Contracting of Port and Waterway Engineering Construction, Grade I for General Contracting of Municipal Public Works, and Grade A for Engineering Design in the Water Transport Industry, as well as a Grade A Surveying and Mapping License and a Foreign Business License, with independent and complete capabilities in survey and design, scientific research and construction, investment and financing, and training. It has been repeatedly rated as a National Excellent Construction Enterprise and a "Enterprise Contract Credit AAA" unit. The Company has more than 4,000 employees, including nearly 2,000 middle and senior professional technical personnel; and more than 600 registered certificate holders of various types such as National Registered Grade I Constructors and Cost Engineers, Consulting Engineers, Civil Engineers, Safety Engineers, Surveyors, and Accountants. In recent years, the Company's operating scale has maintained an annual contract value of approximately 20 billion yuan. Its main business involves various fields including domestic and overseas dredging and reclamation, waterway regulation, navigation mark engineering, wharf construction, municipal engineering, environmental engineering, road and bridge engineering, earthwork engineering, soft foundation treatment, underwater reef blasting, breakwater filling engineering, sunken ship and object salvage, and underwater engineering inspection, with footprints across the country and overseas. Ship equipment is an important support for the Company's development. The Company owns more than 120 various types of ships, with fixed assets of ships amounting to 9.5 billion yuan, an annual dredging capacity of nearly 300 million cubic meters, and land and underwater blasting capacity of more than 5 million cubic meters.
