Shanghai Shenli Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 1998. It is a private new energy high-tech enterprise cultivated by the Ministry of Science and Technology and supported by governments at all levels in Shanghai. With the development and industrialization of hydrogen proton exchange membrane fuel cell technology and all-vanadium redox flow energy storage battery technology as its goals, it is currently a leader in fuel cell technology research and industrialization in China. By the end of 2010, it had obtained 304 authorized patents and led or participated in the formulation of 6 national standards.
Shenli Technology has successively undertaken and successfully completed the national key scientific and technological research plan during the "Ninth Five-Year Plan" period, major projects of the national 863 plan during the "Tenth Five-Year", "Eleventh Five-Year", and "Twelfth Five-Year" periods, as well as relevant scientific research tasks in Shanghai. It has provided fuel cell power systems for fuel cell cars and city buses of different brands and models. Fuel cell cars and buses equipped with Shenli Technology's fuel cell power systems served as VIP shuttle vehicles during the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.
Since 2008, Shenli Technology has been developing all-vanadium redox flow energy storage technology, providing safe and high-quality power supply technology solutions for the bottleneck of grid connection of renewable energy such as wind and solar, peak and valley regulation energy storage, emergency backup power, and energy storage applications in off-grid areas such as islands.
Shenli Technology has been recognized as a high-tech enterprise in Shanghai, a science education base in Shanghai, a patent demonstration enterprise in Shanghai, and an enterprise technology center in Shanghai. Its R&D achievements have won the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award three times, and its products have been recognized as patent new products in Shanghai.
